Chatting (or...more like babbling ;-)) with Justin Hayward after his acoustic set at Borders Book Store in Atlanta, February 8, 1997. Justin was doing a solo tour of Borders, promoting his very latest solo album, The View From The Hill. He played The Way Of The World, It's Up To You, Children of Paradise, Forever Autumn, Your Wildest Dreams, Troubadour, Driftwood, Land Of Make Believe, Nights In White Satin, Tuesday Afternoon and Raised On Love. Following the performance was an autograph signing, where revering fans got a few brief moments to chat with Justin. It was a most memorable experience! If you ever get the chance to see Justin in this type of atmosphere...don't pass it up!!!
This one wasn't quite as nerve-wracking. A less controlled, more laid back atmosphere and kind of impromptu. I also had a chance to get a few shots of courage beforehand. That helps! ;-) It happened in Biloxi after the first show, on March 13, 1999. Got to meet Amanda, too, who is *such* a nice person. Thanks for letting me borrow your hubby for a few pictures. :-)
Okay...so I didn't get my picture taken with him, but I *did* get him to sign one of my photos! This was taken at Polaris Amphitheater in Columbus, OH on August 29, 1999. It was signed at Caesars Palace in Lake Tahoe, NV after the October 20, 2000 show. :-)
